Frequently Asked Questions

  • Although sound is suitable for everyone, it is not recommended during the first and third trimester of pregnancy, if you have severe mental health conditions, are suffering with epilepsy or seizures, have a pacemaker, or metal plates in the body.

  • To get the most out of a Sound Bath, we suggest people relax in a comfortable position (laying on the floor, eye mask on). Then they simply listen to the sounds and stay present with what is felt during the experience.

  • There are 10 available spaces at the group Sound Baths.

  • Advanced booking is essential. There is a maximum capacity of only 10 participants and it is often sold out.

  • A yoga mat, blanket, bolster and eye pillow are provided. You may wish to bring your own cushion and blanket. Dressing comfortably will also support you in becoming more relaxed during the session. Participants often feel thirsty after a Sound Bath session, so a water bottle can be a good idea.

  • Whilst children of all ages are welcome, it is often very challenging for a young child to stay still and quiet for extended periods. We recommend 14 years and above. If you have a young child, a private session may be a good alternative.

  • Most people report a “good night’s sleep” after a sound bath which often extends into a calm, centred feeling the next day.
